| Course Objectives |
This course, PROSTATE CANCER: DIAGNOSIS is divided into two sections. The first section discusses the symptoms and staging of prostate cancer and the methods used for diagnosis. The second section covers four different case studies in which this information is applied.
- The DIAGNOSIS section introduces the symptoms, diagnostic procedures and imaging devices used to detect prostate cancer. This section also discusses the staging the staging criteria used to describe the severity of the disease and introduces the methods used to detect tumors at the earliest possible stage.
- The CASE STUDIES section presents four case studies, each of which discusses a different type and stage of prostate cancer.
